Welcome to the Davidson County Register Of Deeds remote access site.   In the interests of better serving the citizens of Davidson County and the other users of our office, we have created this website to allow our users to perform indexing searches over the Internet. All users, including those who use Non-Windows browsers (Apple, etc.) will be able to perform index searches and retrieve digitized plats.

In order to perform index searches, you do not need any software from this site. However, in order to view plats, Windows users will need to download two ActiveX controls. The controls are software that allow for the viewing and printing of the digitized plats. These ActiveX controls from Lead Tools should be downloaded to your system the first time that you use the site. This download will occur automatically. Depending on your browser settings, you may be asked if you want to download the controls. You must answer yes in order to view and print plat images. If your company or firewall does not allow the downloading of certain content off the Internet, including ActiveX controls, you will not be able to view the plats until you have allowed the control to download by changing security settings.
